Reaching the final were the Indalo teams of : Margaret Maltby, Graham Marlow, Barry Jones & Babs Davies playing John Colquhoun, Maggie Holmes, Don Kitchen & Debbie Colquhoun.
The quality of this final was absolutely top
class; over 18 ends there were 15 ends wielding only one single
shot. The turning point was one loose end by John’s team who
dropped 5 shots on the sixth end, this proved very costly as
Margaret’s team held on to win the final by 13 shots to 11. |
