Emerald Isle BC v Indalo BC

What a wonderful day was had by all in this first leg challenge between the two clubs for The new Friendship Cup” which

will now be played annually home & away.

In a very tough encounter Emerald Isle won the first leg by 11 pts to 5pts, Indalo will be looking to overturn this on the return leg on Sept. 4th.

The quality of the games shows in that the shot difference over all 8 rinks was only six shots…..Emerald Isle 143, Indalo 137.

Many thanks to all at Emerald Isle who made us all feel so very welcome.

On a final note as Indalo Club Captain it was a real pleasure to see the Indalo bowlers parading for the first time in their new club coloured shirts.
