For our May social event, Mijas bowls club members went to the Garden Party given by the British Council at the Castle in Fuengirola on Thursday evening. It turned out to be a very good event, and though it was very windy we all had a good time. Two members of our group winning raffle prizes, the food was good and the entertainment was wonderful. Particularly the young dance troop of children who danced and mimed to the music of Cats. A good time was had and it is hoped that a lot of money was raised for Age Concern. 

Our next social event is a short game of bowls followed by a quiz and supper. This will be on Wednesday 16^th June so if you would like to join us for the evening please contact Sheila 952 387 078 or Carol 952 592 607.

Now its summer we are bowling in the evenings so if you want to come and join in a game its 6.30 for 7pm Tuesday, and also on Thursdays, when we have a BBQ after the game. Sunday morning 9.15 for 9.30. Everyone is welcome to come, so do come along. Tel the club on 952 466 038 in open hours.
