Nov. 2009 - Umpires Course - Sue Walker

The Costa Del Sol, Malaga Province Umpires Association has recently held  an Umpires course at Miraflores Bowls Club.

The format of the Course was demanding and the written, oral and practical examination searching, but  the Association now has five newly qualified umpires who will be beneficial to  the bowling clubs along the coast, providing valuable knowledge during the numerous competitions held here. They are John Cornwell from Superbowl, Graham Rowley, Grant Frost and Bill Mann from Miraflores and Peter Brack from Benalmadena.

Participating Instructors were . Geoff Land, Gordon Adams & John Carr, Benavista BC, John Owens, Superbowl BC.
